What is the Gift Card Program?
Gift Cards are “substitute money”. By purchasing Gift Cards from BCA for your favorite national and local retailers, our school earns revenue dollars for our enrichment programs. How Does this work?
These merchants want to support non-profit organizations, and in return ask you to support them by shopping with Gift Cards at their stores. By purchasing a Gift Card through BCA, you will get a full face-value of the Gift Card and Gift Card will give us back between 1-15% of the face value. Many refer to Gift Cards as FREE money. Can this really be TRUE?
The reason for the effectiveness of Gift Cards is simple: Families generate revenue from purchases they would make ANYWAY. Groceries, clothing, toys, gifts, and even gasoline can be purchased with Gift Cards. An organization of 150 families easily spends between one & two million dollars per year on food, clothing and other essentials. If these families used GIft Cards for their purchases, they can raise as much as $40,000 to $80,000 per year for their organization – without spending and additional penny. YES, this really can be FREE money for our school. How do we know which retailers are available?
Go to www.glscrip.com and click on "Retailer List" to see a list of the Gift Cards we offer. How do I order gift cards?
